Trinity ISE III / C1

What is in the exam?

ISE III consists of two exam modules:

  • Reading & Writing
  • Speaking & Listening

Candidates must pass both modules for an ISE III (C1) qualification.

Reading & Writing

2 hours:

  • 2 x Reading tasks
    • Long reading
    • Multi-text reading
  • 1 x Reading into writing
  • 1 x Extended writing

Speaking & Listening

25 minutes:

  • 3 x Speaking tasks
    • Topic discussion task
    • Collaborative task
    • Conversation task
  • 1 x Independent listening task
